Adriana Unarreal, Founder and Creative Director of ADRI accessories, was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela.

While studying sociology at the L'Universidad Central de Venezuela, her hobby of sewing dresses, re-arranging jewels and embellishing T-shirts flourished into a thriving business and she and her sister launched VOE Accesorios, a company that continues to produce stylish handbags for the modern women of Caracas today.

In 1996, ADRI moved to New York City to further study English. On her return to Venezuela in 1999, she an her sister expanded their business to include a retail boutique that sold handbags, clothing and eye-catching jewelry.

On a buying trip to New York In 2000, she met her future husband, Steven, and by 2001 she was married, living in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and working at the famed SoHo boutique, Kirna Zabete as a Store Manager.

In 2005 she and Steven relocated to Boston, and ADRI began taking jewelry classes at Massachusetts College of Art. In 2008, after seven years in fashion retail management, Adriana felt the need to get back to her true passion, focus on her own jewelry line, and ADRI accessories was launched.

Today Adriana works out of her Jamaica Plain studio, designing handmade jewelry and accessories with an exceptional spirit. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling the world looking for her next inspiration.
